Start here
Five honest starting points. Each explains what usually happens next, so your consultation can begin with your questions instead of the basics.
What the first report means, and what the next three months look like.
Family history, weight, blood pressure — who should be screened, and how often.
Insulin, pumps, monitoring, and building a routine you can actually keep.
Medication, food and the follow-up that keeps control steady.
Care for young patients — and for the families managing it with them.
Care units
So the clinic doesn't stop at blood sugar. Heart, kidneys, nerves, feet and eyes are all checked here, in the same building.
Know your numbers
General goals the clinic sets for most patients. Yours may be different — your doctor will tell you if they are.
Glucose and cholesterol figures are in mg/dL. These follow the American Diabetes Association Standards of Care in Diabetes — 2026. They are the goals for most non-pregnant adults; targets are relaxed or tightened for pregnancy, for children, for older adults and where hypoglycaemia is a concern. Your own targets are set by your doctor.

डॉ. संतोष मालपाणी
“Two people with the same diagnosis rarely need the same plan. So the first job is to listen.”
Beyond the consultation
Records, pharmacy, canteen and e-consultation — the unglamorous parts that decide whether a plan survives contact with real life.
Education department
A patient who understands their own condition does better. That is why the clinic runs a department for it.
आरोग्यावर बोलू काही — संवाद डॉक्टरांसोबत
An open discussion on diabetes and thyroid health, every afternoon at half past twelve. Patients and families welcome; no appointment needed.
Scan and keep
Directions to the clinic, this website to keep on your phone, and the channels where the clinic posts in Marathi.
Patient education
The contents of the clinic’s patient booklet. Choose a language and it opens below.
Social work
A clinic only helps the people who come to it. The Sangh takes diabetes awareness out to the talukas, the radio and the schools — free of charge.
Call any of the clinic numbers before you visit to confirm timings. Existing patients — keep your Clinic ID handy so your records are ready before you arrive.
